This is seriously one classy fragrance. It should be bottled as a men’s fragrance. Clean, sophisticated, complex and self assured. A fragrance to turn a head. I love it.

I love this scent and the depth of the colour too. You can smell the fragrance as soon as you open the box, they are packaged lovely too so great for a gift. I received a rich cream sample too this time which was a nice surprise. I’ve put it in my oil burner and I think I’m going to try it next time though I will always go back to my fave V&CS x

Fantastic candle (Verbena and Clary Sage)! I started with the tall and slim one and each time I have bought a bigger one. I am on the biggest now (tall and fat) but it’s well worth it as I have one burning a lot of the time I am in the house!
If you can I’d advise on visiting the store as there are so many delightful scent choices. For the shopaholics amongst us there is a bargain basket & lucky dip for (very) slightly sub standard candles too! I got some great scents that perhaps I wouldn’t have ventured trying at full price. Lots of lovely jewelry, clothes and leathers good too – well worth a visit.Love it, love it, love it!!! (and the customer service is awesome too).

This is absolutely my most favourite candle ever! The scent is unique and fairly masculine (in my opinion)! I first found Melt candles in a small shop in Durham, probably in 2011. Since then this has been my candle maker of choice and I really can’t rate them highly enough! Everything about the experience is luxury a d the scents for all of the candles have been wonderful and even better than advertised. Reviews really can’t do it justice (just buy one and see for yourself) I believe I have bought nearly every scent now. Each one has been very different, never overpowering and so original! They have contributed to dinner parties (receiving much comment), romantic evenings and nights of working/revision! I always come back to this scent in particular, but if you are thinking of buying any candle here, you will absolutely not be disappointed!

This is my second Verbena & Clary Sage as I love the fragrance. I bought from the shop itself in the past with is a delight to visit but as I was a little short on time I ordered on line and certainly wasn’t disappointed. I discovered your amazing candles in a small store in the cobbled streets of Galway in Ireland. The smells are divine. Each one is just perfect, creating warmth, comfort and the perfect blend of heady scent and understated aroma. Nothing contrived, nothing chemical or sickly. Everyone comments on them. Everyone wants one. I know what all my Christmas presents will be. Just one thought though – could you put the name of the candle on the sticker at the bottom so its easy to re-order when they run low. Keep creating.
Ahhh… my favourite candle too. Just smells divine and makes you want to curl up on the sofa with a book, glass of something ‘nice’ and a gorgeous man next to you!!! …will settle for the candle lit, the sofa, book and drink!!!!
