A devotee of Melt Candles for many many years. I feel total confidence in buying new fragrances by the descriptions alone. Burgundy was one of them and it really is lovely. In fact I would wear it. It would be a fabulous unisex fragrance. The colour works so well too. Decadent and relaxing if that makes sense……
There aren’t enough words to describe how beautiful this candle is…all of them are to be truthful but this one really packs a punch in the most beautiful and elegant way. There is something so mysteriously familiar about this scent to me, yet I cannot pinpoint it, which is why I love it. It’s filled my room with it’s sweet yet perfectly spicy notes and I haven’t even lit it yet. – Now on to customer service.. Melt really know what they are doing when it comes to interacting with their customers, I feel like I know one of the staff members through our email conversations, yet I haven’t even met them! They offer the most beautiful touches on your orders, like follow up notes and handwritten messages on the packing slip.

Delicious scent – even before the Burgundy candle was lit. My first purchase from Melt and won’t be the last.
I love the smell of Burgundy, and so does everyone who has smelled it in our home. I stock up on it each year. I know fragrances are a matter of personal taste but if you are wondering where to start from across the Melt range, I can’t imagine this being a disappointment to anyone, it’s just lovely.
This was my first purchase from Melt. My daughter give me one from her recent visit. Burgundy is a wonderful lasting fragrance. I will certainly be ordering again, in fact I am very tempted to sell up , move to Waddington and plead for a job. X

I normally stick to the scents I know but thought I’d give burgundy a try. The scent fills the whole room & I can still smell it the next day, there’s no going back for me now!
Burgundy makes the darker evenings worthwhile,lovely scent just the right side of heavy ! It’s a pleasure to light .
I love Melt candles but had not bought the Burgundy candle for a couple of years. I bought the candle to cheer myself up following the unexpected death of my cat. I am so happy that I chose Burgundy as it’s wonderful fragrance fills the whole room even when unlit. The smell is even more amazing when lit and it really cheered me up. Even my Partner commented on the lovely scent before we even lit the candle. I would highly recommend the Burgundy candle. Thank you Melt for making such beautifully scented candles.
I have used Melt candles previously and have always been very happy. I ordered these not being too sure what to expect during the current situation. However they arrived speedily and beautifully wrapped following all the Government guidelines. They smell fantastic and they fill the room with the beautiful scent even when not lit. I was so happy to be able to buy online as my usual source is closed due to the current situation. The scent is complex and rich, impossible to describe but incredibly warming and lovely! As other reviewers have pointed out, you can even smell it when it is unlit. My tall pillar candle is now a tiny nub and I am definitely planning to buy another one. I’ve ordered the Melt samples to see what some of the other candles smell like, but so far this one is my favourite! (With runners up being Cashmere and Noir). If you’re new to Melt, definitely buy this candle. It’s one of the best!

This is my favourite Melt candle and is especially warming during the autumn / winter months. It’s the scent that makes our house smell like home. It’s comforting and exquisite, deep and homely, like a big hug in the middle of a quiet woodland.

Since discovering Melt and developing a candle addiction, this was a totally blind purchase. No regrets!! To me Burgundy is comforting, feminine and a bit sexy. It makes you feel welcomed into a space, even when its not lit. It would be a great gift to a girlfriend. Another favourite (I have a candle problem).

First time I’ve had this scent ..received today and couldn’t wait to light. An absolute beauty of a fragrance, warm, deep, welcoming. Burgundy is rich, intense, warm, wonderful. Lighted or not, it makes the room a much more pleasant place to be.
Burgundy is my favourite. It scents the cupboard where it is stored as a bonus. the candles are very slow burning too. I love spicy foods but don’t like the lingering smell. This is the perfect answer.

Wow! The most gorgeous candle fragrance ever. Think I may be getting almost everyone I know a Burgundy candle for next Christmas, from the comments it elicits from visitors.
This is the smell of curling up on the sofa, with a hot cup of tea and a good book. Clock ticking in the background and maybe a cat curled up on your knee. I will definitely be buying this in the larger versions.
Another ‘taster box’ try and it’s already down as one of my favourite Melt scents, along with Noel. This tiny shot glass of a candle has the most incredible smell – small but powerfully persuasive indeed – like being enveloped in a huge, warm hug. It reminds me of a lovely, luxurious hotel in Rome, and is scenting my sitting room without even being lit. I’ll definitely be buying the bigger version of this when it’s all used up. I could be turning into a bit of a Melt addict!
