  This was my very first purchase , after visiting Melt in Waddington, whilst on holiday back in 2018 I think,( I seemed to have missed a year somewhere) its still my favourite, mind you they are all my favourites. A long lasting fragrance even when not lit. If anyone is in that area, please call in to browse, it will blow your mind, and the staff are wonderful and know their stuff.

  This is my second candle from melt and again I am pleased with the scent. This candle strongly scents the room without being lit which is a pleasant surprise. It did burn uneven and I’ve had to trim off a little bit of top wax to minimise tunnelling but those pieces can go into a wax melt so all is not lost! All in all a great candle with quick delivery, fully recommended.

  To me, Recherché is a beautiful, elegant scent and I absolutely love it. Delivery was surprisingly quick and beautifully packaged – even the packaging smells great! Thank you.

  Bought this as a wax slice in an attempt to find some new favourites. Used this as a wax melt – works perfectly – and soon my room was filled with the Recherche scent. Reminded me of an old, refined aftershave. Definitely not unpleasant but nowhere near lives up to Saddle, which remains my top pick.

  My husband bought this for our third wedding anniversary as it was leather. I absolutely love the scent of this candle, which initially was strong but after several hours of burning the scent had got fainter and fainter so quite disappointing. It’s burnt quite unevenly so it slopes off.

  First time I have bought this one and if you like saddle then it’s a lovely alternative It burns well and is in a hurricane holder so the room does smell great even when it’s not burning. It’s fresh but rich at the same time which is contrary but it works

  First purchase from Melt. The candle is high quality and burns evenly and clean. The best way I describe the scent is that it’s quite a sophisticated smell, sort of green rose and dry woods. Keen to try some scents.

  I bought this for my spare room and it’s a bit of a stronger scent than I was expecting but very pleasant! I usually buy Still or Saddle so thought I’d try something different and I think it’s perfect for that room!
