Bought a Noir travel tin and even without lighting it the aroma is sophisticated and unique. Burns evenly and beautfully.
I have tried every candle out there on the market and absolutely nothing compares to MELT. You don’t even have to light the candles to enjoy the amazing aroma. Noir is sensational, the most gorgeous scent. I pair it with Love. The dark Noir against the floral of Love is a fabulous mix. Try them, you honestly will not be disappointed.

Lovely, subtly-scented candle. Someone mentioned it smelling of cinnamon – it isn’t mentioned in the ingredients so I’m assuming that there isn’t any in it, but the combination of scents like clove, vanilla, and sandalwood may account for it smelling like that: I do find it to be an autumnal/winter-like smell, which I associate with things like cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and the like. As to delivery and customer service, excellent as usual (I’ve been stocking up on my favourite scents over summer whilst the discounts have been on, so had plenty of opportunities to experience this!)
this deserves 5/5, given the rating is skewed by low ratings that have little to do with the scent. great smell.
Bought Noir recently it looks and smells great, just ordered some more samplers to see which smell to try next, also got my sister loving them too xx
Used to buy melt candles years and for some reason stopped buying, God knows why as they are fab. They are the only candle you can still smell when they are not even burning. I will be buying plenty more. The noir is fab xxx
I have just purchased two Noir candles for a second time but I also have Cream and, my favourite, Saddle. The candles you make are nothing like any I have found anywhere else. They smell beautiful even when they are not lit! I would also like to mention your great customer service and very prompt delivery.
Lovely fragrance from your noir candles lingering and lasting and mysterious too. This might be my new favourite although the choice is hard and I have more to try .
re our waxes, we will not use Beeswax or Palm wax because of their implications on the environment and wildlife. but we use most other kinds of wax including Soy. Paraffin wax is a waste product from the oil industry(so if we drive or use transport we are all responsible for it being here);our paraffin wax is food grade quality, very pure & stable & gives a superior scent throw. Most Soy is GM & is implicated in the declining bee population, ours is organic but the the extraction of the wax from the bean is a chemical process & so we won’t label it organic even though we could. There is a lot to consider, but we hope this is of help Emily.
Unfortunately, reviews are anonymous so this is the only way we can respond to Emily’s review below. Pillar candles burn differently to container candles as they have to remain stable and can’t become completely molten for obvious reasons. The pillar candles burn out – & the longer you burn them for the better as this creates a wider wax pool – and then the sides follow in as the candle burns down. You should always have a containing wall of wax to support the molten wax in the middle, but should also get a very long burn time, any wax left over can be used up in an oil burner.
meltxI absolutely love the scents of your candles. I was given a Still wide tall pillar candle for my wedding and purchased a Noir medium pillar candle nor long after. I love the scent it’s so powerful. However, despite following your wick care instructions carefully I was left with an inordinate amount of waste wax. I recycled this to make my own candles and wax melts but for the price I think I would only go for a jar or travel candle in future. I’ve found more evenly burning luxury candles. I would also appreciate if you used soy wax instead of parrafin wax

There are candles everywhere in the shops, but none of them smell as delicious as your candles. I have just received my latest addition the Noir candle and it is a stunning fragrance, (think it should be called Black Magic!), I love it. I have bought the Angel candle several times in the past which is heavenly too. Your excellent customer service should also be mentioned, thank you x

Melt are simply the BEST candles ever! I have never used their delivery service before but was most impressed with the speed my candle arrived and packaged perfectly. The smell of my candle is divine ! (Which I already knew it would be !) can’t wait for the unloved boxes to be back in stock as would love to try a surprise package :0)
This is one of my Mum’s favourites and I’ve just bought it for her Birthday. Think she was v pleased! Lovely scent.
My favourite candle has to be Noir, your first fragrance! It fills my house with the most delicious sensuous aroma and all visitors comment on the wonderful ‘smell’ of our home.
Having said that I do love most other Melt candles and give them as gifts to friends in England and throughout the world. We have tried so many other candles over the years, but none come remotely near to Melt in uniqueness, quality, fragrance, and colour. They are in my opinion (and so many of my acquaintances!) the best in the world.
