If you’re a bit of a Melt candle addict, you’ll have noticed we feature cedarwood in quite a few of our scents. Extracted through the process of steam distillation from the wood pieces of the Cedar Wood tree, it’s one of the most popular essential oils you’ll find around today – offering many medicinal and health benefits. And when it comes to our scented candles, cedarwood has a lot to offer too. An ideal base note, it’s helpful in rounding out sharpness of spice and grounding florals, while adding interest to an overall scent.
