Spring shopping list Fragrances

Last week, we talked about why we love spring – sharing some of our favourite seasonal sights and smells. With all our spring favourites in mind, we’re delving into our yummy fragrance range and sharing the best perfumes to complement the sunny season!

Best for everyday wear…

Mitchell & Peach – English Leaf

The gorgeous ‘green floral’ collection, inspired by the English countryside, gives off just the right amount of fragrance. It’s not too strong or overwhelming, but has enough lasting power to keep you smelling fabulous all day long. The outdoors-inspired perfume is fragranced with natural extracts including soft citruses, coriander leaves, basil, mint, and essential oils from the Mitchell plantations.

Best for romance…

Jean Charles Brosseau – Ombre Rose l’Original

If you’re looking for a luxury scent that’s guaranteed to make you feel gorgeous, choose Ombre Rose L’Original. The sensual scent is sure to make you irresistible and is packed full of timeless, feminine ingredients. The perfume combines top notes of aldehydes, peach, Brazilian rosewood and geranium, with more subdued middle notes and luxury base notes of honey, Tonka bean, musk and vanilla – to name but a few!

Best for girly girls…

Rance 1975 – Eugenie EDP

We love everything about Eugenie – from her elegant bottle, finished off with a pretty lavender ribbon, to the wonderful mix of ingredients, which leave you with an incredible scent. The deeply feminine yet subtle fragrance was designed with the modern day princess in mind. Everything about the scent screams luxury and the fragrance itself is delightful! You’ll find ingredients that include lily of the valley, white flowers, jasmine, oak musk, rose absolute and vanilla – all our feminine favourites.

Top fragrance tips

Whichever of our fragrances you pick, make so you do it justice by following our perfume application tips:

  • Spray your perfume on hydrated skin to ensure its lasting power – dry skin doesn’t tend to hold perfume well. Adding Vaseline to your pulse points is a quick and easy way to add that much-needed moisture.
  • Hair carries perfume well too – so don’t be afraid of spritzing a little onto a hairbrush and sweeping through your locks.
  • Don’t rub or pat your wrists together after application – this will force the top notes to disappear.
  • Other pulse points worth spraying, aside from your wrists, are the inside of your elbows, behind your knees, and on your ankles and calves.
  • Once you’re running out of your favourite scent, pour the last little bit into an unscented lotion to leave you with a gorgeous smelling, one-off body cream. Then take a look at our luxury perfume range for inspiration.
