Was that a collective "Aaaagghhhh!" that we just heard? We defy anyone not to be moved by this gorgeous visitor to our Summer Daze weekend. Woody is a 10 week old Asian Wood Owl - who without the help and intervention of "Barn Owll Bill" & his charity would most certainly not have survived. Already 12 inches high, this bundle of fluff was just one of the many gorgeous attractions that visitors enjoyed over the course of the weekend. It was a rare opportunity for many of us to get close to these beautiful birds of prey & the children were simply in love!

We also have to thank the North West Reptile Society who gave their entire weekend to help educate us about this often misunderstood species. Whilst Con the Boa Constrictor wasn''t everyone's cup of tea...we can safely say that the majority fell in love with the Boss Monitor & Iguanas who romped around the yard on velvet (yes! velvet!) leads.

To all of you who bought produce from our Farmers stalls...we hope you enjoyed your feast!...& we look forward to welcoming you back to our Autumn event at the end of September!
