Although still cold, the days here have been so sunny and still. The birds are getting "chattier", the Robins are starting to battle it out for territory ....and we have a new visitor too. A buzzard has taken to circling the skies above the farm with its distinctive cry - we think he must be starting to nest in the woods nearby. Our early morning walk to work a few days ago saw us surprise 5 deer asleep in the field....they didn't seem too concerned and just hopped over the hedge without any fuss!
The workshop on the other hand has been a far cry from the tranquil surroundings above. With Mothers Day so close to Valentines, we have been working hard to make sure all our stockists have their orders in time and our web-site has also been busier than ever as a result.
Back-ridge is holding a "Daffodil" day on Mothers day weekend (both Saturday and Sunday)....when every mother visiting site will receive a complimentary bunch of ...yes you guessed it...Daffodils! So pop in for a visit and a leisurely stroll around the various outlets to see what is new for the Spring!
